I am trying to make phone calls with caller ID setup however I keep getting told I am showing up as unknown caller. I have tried installing asterisk and fixing this, but I am sure it's just a simple fix with a softphone. Can I get help on doing this? It would be greatly appreciated.

Use a SIP user that is the same as the outbound caller ID number that you want to display. Create a new SIP user in your account with us if necessary. Then register and make calls from the softphone with that SIP user, and set the softphone's display name to whatever you like, and it should work without requiring Asterisk.
